Adult Assisted Living communities of
high quality exist all over the Traverse City area, but at Boardman
Lake Glens we are unique in our ability to offer our residents the
opportunity to "age in place". When you move into one of the
apartments at The Glens, it can become your permanent home.
The management and staff are in place to offer sixteen levels of
care to meet each resident's specific personal needs throughout the
remainder of our residents lives.

care, while others require total care, even hospice care.
Regardless of the attention required, our staff at Boardman Lake
Glens is prepared to provide kindness, comfort and increasing
assistance... whatever is needed so our residents do not have to

Boardman Lake Glens is comprised of
three unique homes: The Highlander, Brigadoon and Inverness.
Nestled on the shores of Boardman Lake, these residences are
uniquely positioned in downtown Traverse City. Each home has
twenty spacious apartments with a variety of floor plan options and
a smoke free environment.
When you move in, you will have
your own private apartment which
you can furnish and decorate with
your favorite things. A typical one-bedroom unit has a full
kitchen, ample closet space, an oversized bathroom, living room and
bedroom. Each apartment is equipped with a safety response
intercom system with in-house 24 hour monitoring. Utilities
and cable TV are included and small pets are welcome!
 In
the tastefully appointed gathering areas of each of the three
buildings, there is plenty of room for entertaining, socializing and
dining with friends and relatives. Meals are served family
style, three times daily and guests are always welcome. Our
Director of Food Services plans and serves nutritious meals, meeting
residents' special dietary needs.
Our amenities include impeccable
housekeeping, individual laundry service, a beauty salon,
transportation in the new Boardman Lake Glens van equipped with
special wheel chair lift, a registered nurse who oversees each
resident's care plan, house managers at each home and a
professional, dedicated 24 hour awake staff.
